Connecting to AOL using Salsgiver, Inc.

America Online (AOL) allows you to connect to their service over the Internet. Connecting in this manner will incur two fees: one from Salsgiver, Inc. for the Internet dial-up service, and one from AOL for their service. These instructions are intended to assist you in connecting to America Online via the Internet.
NOTE: You will need to have an existing account with AOL for these instructions to work. If you do not have an America Online account, call 1-888-265-8001 for information, or visit their web site. |
- Get an AOL account if you don't have one already.
- Connect to the Internet as you normally would.
- Start the America Online software.
- At the sign-on screen, click the "Setup" button.
- Click here for a screen shot.
- Click on the "Edit Location" button.
- Click here for a screen shot.
- In both "Network" boxes, select "TCP/IP".
- Click here for a screen shot.
- Click "Save".
- Proceed with connecting to AOL.
- Get an AOL account if you don't have one already.
- Connect to the Internet as you normally would.
- Start the America Online software.
- At the Sign On screen, select "TCP (For LAN or ISP)".

- Proceed with connecting to AOL.
